A delightful Christmas experience
We don’t usually eat out for Christmas lunch, but this year felt special. The food was amazing, like being at a friend's cozy home. The staff were super attentive and made it all flow well. Just wish the dessert selection was a bit broader. The bar area was nice too, perfect for a pre-lunch drink.

charming hotel near parks and delightful eateries
I enjoyed my stay here where I could easily explore nearby Plessey Woods Country Park, just over 2 km away, and found great food options at cozy spots like Grays Cafe Bar, only a short stroll from my room, which was tastefully decorated and featured friendly staff who made my experience memorable.

The twin room I stayed in was huge and super clean. The bed was massive and really comfy, made for a good night's sleep. I felt well taken care of by the staff. they were really helpful. Only thing I noticed was the room had some adequate but basic facilities. Would’ve loved to stay longer to enjoy it more!

Amazing food and vibes!
Just spent a night in a double room and wow, the staff really went above and beyond to make my stay memorable! They even whipped up some special meals for me that weren't on the menu. The food was top-notch! The only thing was, the bar area got a bit crowded later in the night. Can't wait to come back with my boyfriend!

The beautiful decor throughout creates a charming and inviting atmosphere, complemented by exceptionally friendly staff. The breakfasts were particularly delightful, featuring dishes like Tuscan cheese, and the dog-friendly policy adds to the overall warmth. some areas could benefit from updates to maintain the high standards, and the reception could be a tad more organized during peak hours. the experience was enjoyable and well worth a return visit.

Perfect for a family getaway
We stayed for a night, and I gotta say, the staff treated us like family, always smiling and ensuring we had everything we needed. The room was tastefully decorated, with antique furniture and a comfy bed, I felt relaxed the moment I walked in.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for.

I really enjoyed my stay—my room was spacious with a cozy huge bed and the wet room had lots of grab rails, making it easy to navigate. The lovely sun terrace and garden were perfect for relaxing with a book. The only thing I'd suggest is adding a fan for warmer nights, but overall, it's a nice little gem to unwind at! 🌼

great ambiance but minor issues with room cleanliness
The warm welcome from Colin and his family stood out, creating an immediate sense of comfort. The charm of having furry hosts, Marley and Lola, added a delightful touch to our stay.
I noticed some areas in the room could use a more thorough cleaning.

The King Room for Disability Access offers spacious layouts, making it easy to move around. Location allows for convenient access to local pubs and nightlife, enhancing the overall vibe of the experience.
Heating left us shivering after a long drive, with a broken boiler system causing issues both nights. Noise from the bar could be disruptive, especially on weekends, affecting the relaxing atmosphere we hoped for. The garden exit ramp remained icy, posing a safety hazard when trying to navigate parking. Curtains in the room were sagging, slightly diminishing the overall comfort.

Cozy room with a fantastic breakfast experience
My stay in the double room was incredibly enjoyable, highlighted by a beautifully presented breakfast and a cozy atmosphere throughout. The quirky decor added charm, and I loved the relaxing bath feature in the room after my travels. While the meal service was a bit slow due to a busy night, the staff were helpful and friendly, ensuring a pleasant experience overall.
